The Full Story
About
For over 40 years, I’ve crafted stories through fine art photography, starting in the 1980s Puerto Rican salsa scene, capturing legends like Héctor Lavoe, Celia Cruz, and El Gran Combo in iconic album covers and electrifying performance shots. A 1984 Bachelor’s in Fine Arts graduate from Rochester Institute of Technology, I later honed my skills at Maine Photographic Workshops.
My work spans documentary, studio, and travel photography. Today, I focus on giving back through lectures, empowering youth, and developing Coursepage.com, connecting students with mentors for accessible education.

Mission
To capture the essence of everyday life and tell the stories of the unsung heroes.
Vision
My vision is greatly influenced by my upbringing in Old San Juan, Puerto Rico in the 1970-1980s during the rise of Puerto Rican popular music, with my father being deeply connected to the industry as a radio and TV show host and my mother a folkloric dance professor and historian.
